Can't connect to ea servers. Xbox one.

As soon as I start up the game I get the Can't connect to EA servers message. First time starting up the PS4 and the multiplayer isn't working. Not impressed. My friends are online right now as well, so it isn't a server wide issue. My PS4 is still connected to the PSN and I can watch Netflix, so my internet should not be the issue. It's been like this for the past 3-4 hours.
