Can't connect to Server BF4

Hi

 
I really hope you can help.
 
I'm being driven mad at present with constant crashes (BF4 has stopped working) and failed to connect to server.
 
 
I get an error: failed to connect to server 7 or 8 times before I finally join, I might get 1 full round in before I get BF4 has stopped working.
 
I have reformatted my PC, reinstalled Windows and all drivers, I have deleted and reinstalled Punkbuster and DirectX....
 
 
Please help, I loved BF3 with well over 700 hours, but BF4 is nigh on impossible to play
When it does run it runs very smoothly, 60+FPS on mostly high or ultra.
 
But it's soo unstable and difficult to join, I have swapped my memory, Gxcard etc, it's not those. I have put my PC back to stock without Overclock and I still get the same.
 
Please, please help, since the beta (which was relatively stable I have had very little chance to get any stable and consistent game play in, mostly as I simply cannot join a game.

    First off - really well written question!

    Something to try from SASkievua on battlog forums:

    than 
    - I delete file "PROFSAVE_profile" in "C:\Users\(your user name)\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings" 
    - launched the campaign 
    - set all settings from scratch 
    - ... 
    - PROFIT! multiplayer finally is working! 

    may be this is because file PROFSAVE_profile was created in this location by early beta-build and release version of BF4 has some problem with it"

    Not tried that 1 yet, I shall try that tonight when I get home and report back.

    ..cool, let me know.. worked a treat, couldnt connect for weeks already, thought damn, I must give up on BF4..
