Can't connect to servers w/PS4 this game only. $200 spent between PS3/PS4

I bought BF4 2 months ago for PS3.  Bought premium package and several battlepacks/weapon packs.  Spent about $160.  Just ulocked last weapon(minus sniper unlocks).  Wife & son bought me PS4, 2 weeks ago,spent another $40 on digital download.  Game would not recognize my existing data or connect online.  All other games (GTA5,TLOU) loaded fine.  Please contact me @ *******,or [edit: email address removed].
