Can't disable Cloud Storage

Everytime I try to disable cloud storage in Origin , it will pops out this error :

" HANG ON, THAT DIDN'T WORK

We were unable to change your setting. The server may be temporarily offline. Please try again later. "

I've been trying everyday since last year though.

I also had re-downloaded and re-installed Origin but no luck at all.

I couldn't find any solutions in the Internet too.

Please help , thanks .

perhaps you try to do the steps like follow description :

    https://help.ea.com/za/article/manually-uninstalling-origin/

Before you do this , i suggest to do BackUp´s.

  • Awesome ! Removing those registry & cache then re-installed Origin fixed it .

Now my game starts without anymore pop ups about cloud storage errors .

    Thank you man .

I got the same problem in all my Origin games but I tried the Full uninstall method(At the request of Origin help I might add) and it did NOTHING.

I also tried running in compatability for multiple windows versions which only introduced an error on startup which says you are running in compatability mode and this may cause problems.

I also tried R&D mode which while interesting did nothing for me. I am running the latest version and have tried the Beta NONE of which works.

I can't help but think I am missing something maybe in permissions but I set all permissions for the Origin folder and it's appdata folder to allowed so I don't think so.

I even disabled the read only option to see if it was a write permission problem. Nothing works.

Can you think of anything I missed?
