Can't download Battlefield 1, due to files in use

    I figured out the problem.

    It was one lonely corrupted/unreadable file in the Battlefiled 1 directory that would let me delete it. So I scanned my drive and it got rid of the file for me. I reinstalled Battlefiled 1 using normal settings and it worked perfectly.

Hi @TheMarine27

At this point there are two possibilities left. A non Windows process other than Origin and it's QtWebEngineProcesses is still running on a clean boot or you have a dmage system file in Windows that's reporting in use when it isn't.

You can check for that like this: Use the System File Checker to repair Windows System Files.

I don't know anymore.

I used the system file checker and it found no damaged files that it had to fix. After that I once again did a clean boot and looked in the task manager for anything that did not look like Origin or windows, I did not find anything their either though there could be a file I am missing somehow (Is there a way to check for that)? I honestly have no idea what to do anymore. You have helped me so much and I shouldn't ask for anymore but do you have any more ideas I can try?
