Can't exit spectator mode

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No steps on my end were conducted. I simply was in a game as a spectator and when I hit Escape, no overlay came up. At that point, I could no longer view any of the spectator actions (like selecting a player, viewing in 1st or 3rd person, etc.)
What happens when the bug occurs? The screen turns dark (like it does when you want to change settings or exit a game). However, the menu options are not displayed.

In Battlefield 1, I was in a team deathmatch game mode as a spectator. When I tried to exit the game (through Escape and quit), the menu did not display. After that, I could no longer view the spectator screen options (like choosing a person, changing the view modes, etc.). The only way I could leave was by ending the task.
