Can't fix Error. "Please repair your game install and try again"

I read that Battlefront 2 mods could cause this error message, so I have disabled all of it's mods and completely uninstalled the game. i have repaired the Battlefield 1 game files (through steam since that's where I bought it), I have reinstalled the EA-app and restarted my PC multiple times. I still get the same error-message every single time.

What do I have to do?
