Can't Invite to Squad, Squad join not working

Hi, I play battlefield 4 on PC, I've been trying to play battlefield 4 with a friend, but the squad join is not working, any invite I send or he sends is not received, when I click on the squad join tab under multiplayer I get led to a blank screen that does nothing, still not able to send an invite, or receive one. I even tried sending an invite through the origin overlay, still does not work, how do I solve this?

    @Evandir44 Hello,

    It looks like it's an UI issue that can be fixed by deleting "Twinkle" folder in your Documents folder>>Battlefield 4 folder. Please let me know your result.
