cant pass swimming part

so I'm on this level in the single player game where you go to the ship and there's a part where you have to swim to get to the objective but I cant even get to it because there's some kind of invisible force pushing me back in the water. I restarted the mission checkpoint 3 * TIMES.... and restarted the whole mission 2 times. this is on the south china sea level

so what do I do???

NVM, found a solution, if I pause the game it somewhat allows me to move without that push back force till it comes back (thus I just pause again and rinse and repeat

Found out how to do it.
1st: you swim untill your stuck at a barrier
2nd: you press "S" while pulling your mouse down like keep pulling it so you look down (eventually you'll move forward somehow)
3rd: when you're unstuck swim normal
4th: repeat

@kidarke Did they even bother to test the single player after they designed it? It doesn't feel like it. It is laughably bad.

This helped me:
Use RivaTuner/MSI Afterburner and set Framerate limit to 30 FPS.
