Can't Play Battlefield Hardline on PC

I have been playing games on Origin and now Ea on PC for years, but recently, I haven't been able to play any games via the Ea application, even my Steam-linked games.

The most recent is Battlefield Hardline. I tried playing the campaign and multiplayer, but every time I tried, I got the notification, as seen in the attachment.  

I have tried several suggested fixes...

app recovery

app repair

uninstalling and reinstalling the app

uninstalling and reinstalling the game

unblinking and relinking my Steam client.  

Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this?
