Early in the campaign, my squad leader gave me a binocular, and tutorial message said hold Q so I can use some tactical binocular, but it didn't worked.
Am I missing something? Or it's bugged?

I've held Q for 30+ seconds, all I get is a dot crosshair, [T] Zoom context tip, and if I click I hear some kind of sound, not sure what it is, and the Reload notification comes up. I don't have any screenshots\videos right now. I noticed a couple arrows or something showing up near the Mini Map, but I have no idea what that is.

I have read on the battlelog forums that setting click to zoom to hold for zoom in the settings fixes this as a workaround. Have not tried it yet.

Switching ADS to click to hold fixes the problem. Otherwise, all you see is a white dot in the middle of the screen, a prompt to zoom (sometimes it won't even display the key to press), and that's it. When like that, it doesn't work at all. Using the workaround, the screen changes to the tact. visor, allows you to zoom, and everything else. Another problem I have noticed with the tact. visor is sometimes when in it, the HUD goes invisible, but the screen remains gray and disolored as you are still in it, but zoom and etc. will stop functioning.
