Change Location of Battlefield 4 Folder

I think after the last update, my "Battlefield 4" folder (the one that contains Screenshots, settings and Twinkle) got moved into my default Documents folder, which happens to be my Google Drive. I don't want this content stored in my Google Drive. Not only is it using up storage there, it syncs in game often resulting in crashes.

It starts in the root of my E: drive where I want it, but when I start playing it changes to my Google Drive (the default Documents location).

How can I fix this???

  • Hi there,

I see you're having issues with: Game File location

Explanation:EA has recently removed the ability to move the install folder

    The following suggested solutions include:

    1) delete the game, change download location in settings, re-download the game to the new folder

If you continue to have issues please create a ticket at https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/

    Hello @coyotekilla

I am really sorry for those troubles with the game. Can you check your Origin client settings, the Installs and Saves tab? You can change Game Library location there.

    Cheers,
    Archi
