    It already shows you the current fire mode.

    You can see it on the bottom right where it says "V".

I miss this option too a little so you got my vote. They should also add an indicator to display the current firemode!

    Just to be clear, BF1 currently doesn't let you set the default firing mode. It only shows you which firing mode you have.

      It looks like they implemented this for BFV in Open Beta! Your previous fire mode selection will carry over to the next spawn.
