Collector's edition redemption code not recognized

I'm getting this error code "This could be because the code was entered incorrectly. It could also be because the code was previously used. Please try again, or refresh the page and use the "View Previously Redeemed Codes" button. If you are continuing to have issues, please contact EA Support at https://help.ea.com/."

Way too expensive for this not to work.

    Should also be mentioned that when you go to the link they put there the help center sends you to a page that does not exist.

    That's not true at all @Fifthcolumn , I just went to https://help.ea.com/ and the page worked:  (see screenshot)

    @KiNG-M-Easy were you ever able to contact EA support via telephone or live chat?
