Commander App: can't deploy gunship/missile

I have found the same bug on PC. Every now and then I can't deploy the Missile nor the Gunship, even when my team holds the proper objective. Once the enemy takes over and we take it back, it usually returns to functioning properly.

This seems to happen when you're Proxy Attacked right before your team has completely captured the required point.  This is how I've noticed it happening the most offen when I lose the option even if my team has it.

The only way I've seen to fix it is if the other team at least partialy caps that point and then your team recaps it and restores it functional status.

I'm encountering the same issue and the opposing team doesn't have a Commander so it's definitely not happening during a Proxy Attack. Btw, I'm on PS3.

Well OceanH, that's how it seems to happen to me 9 out of every 10 times it breaks.  So, it would be a good starting point to look into getting it fixed.  And I'm a PC user, but command most of the time on my Andriod tablet as it seems to be easier to use to command, minus not having the chat option.

Well guys, im here to inform yall that it aint just on the ipad or tablet. This happens on the actual game too. I tested it out on my ps4, and guess what, the same damn thing has happened. Ive been preaching this for months on here, that the missile/gunship wont come back til the enemy team retakes the flag and then my team takes it back. Hopefully they can fix this **bleep**!!

There's also another similar issue with the Commander mode: losing the bottom options on the menu after you moved the cursor around. While highlighting an objective after moving the cursor to it, you try to promote a squad but the bottom options are gone when you open the menu therefore can't promote the selected squad. They will only show up if you select another squad and then re-select your previous squad to promote it.

not to mention half the time, when i try and join a server with 0/2 commanders in it, it says "no commander slots available"

That drives me nuts as well.

This issue has been present for over half a year and there's still no fix to it.

when im on my ipad, click a server to join, half the time, the box on the right when the "commander" icon is to click, disappears too. I just wonder if the guys at EA and Dice actually test commander mode out on tablets??
