Connection issues

Try making sure BF4 and Origin is specificly allowed through Windows Firewall and what else software firewalls you might have installed. Also try powering off your network equipment like routers and modems for 5 minutes and then powering them up again.

It seems that more people have this problem today by looking in battlelogs forum.

So maybe its something wrong in the other end and not in our equipment. 

I'm having the exact same problem. Game worked fine yesterday, now it's giving that error message every time I try to join a server. I have tried rebooting my computer and router, also ran repair on the game installation and reinstalled the battlelog plugin. Problem persists. 

Ah, so it's a common problem. Time to wait then. 

I've had the same issues too. However it struck me when i came to change server. everything was going fine until i quit to choose a new server.. i've tried everything from deleting browser stuff and all of that. my plug in is allowed full accsess but still nothing. Maybe the EA servers are down for the moment in our area. My guess is that they'll reboot and hopefully be back online in a few hours. 

Got the same problem for the first time today morning . Yesterday game was working as always and nothing changed on my computer today but the game doesnt work. Sad thing that EA "HERO" writes that problem with you and can't accept by his tiny mind that maybe problem exactly with battlefield! waiting for working solution.

Answer HQ is a community based forum. Players helping other players. Now I have no influence on your ISP's or EA's network / server issues so I choose to try and help with what I could actually help with. Also, with automaticly updating firewalls and ISP's remotely updating router firmwares my solution is a possible solution. If you don't like it feel free to ignore it.

Yes same issue: "Online login is currently unavailable!!!!", did try these so far:

1) uninstall / install Origin client (3 times)

    -> origin starts ok but it says that error message

2) hostfile fix (windows 7)

3) proxy check (no proxy in use)

4) C:\Windows\system32>netsh winsock reset 

-> now reepooting to see if that nr 4 helped or not -> Nope! Did not help 😕mileysad:

5) Did also try to reboot all the routers and see if there is any problems there. Well did check that I had my configuration for ports still there:

But dont think thats the problem, when Origin can not get contact to https://accounts.ea.com connection time out.

Next It seems that I have to check this step next:

6) change the DNS to Googles ones:  8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 -> Did not work again. DNS is working ok, but no help getting to Origin login ....

7) Did try the US Vpn server and see if that helps to get connection to Origin. "No connection to server" from Origin

3)Hit enter and await results.
