Thanks for the response! It is as you say. I also forgot to mention that there also many other players mainly from the SEA region including me, who isn't able to connect to JP servers. I found them posting their issues in the BF1 forums and even on reddit. And one more thing, I used to have a ping of around 60ms on HK servers before the weapons crate update, but I am having a constant ping of around 250ms sometimes spiking up to 300ms presently on HK servers. Thanks!
If it's any consolation, servers playing Frontlines and TDM are unaffected for some reason, except the high ping in certain servers.
