Counter Knife on PC has stopped working properly since March 6th client patch

I still am unable to counter knife  ---it used to work really well and now nothing happens? Has anyone else had this issue since the March update.

Hmmm........havne't had any chance to counter knife in past few days but I did notice a weird type of freaky 'mid counter maneouvre ' freeze earlier in the week. Seemed like the blocking animation got stuck in mid air and...I just died. 

Yes, I too have the same problem. I watched some video's on counterknifing, some say you should press the button only when the message appears or the counterknife will fail if you do it before that message. Thing is, when the message appears when I haven't touched any button yet, I'm already dead. This mechanic is so awesome, especially considering the fact they claim netcode is fixed now and everything, but one shots and other premium bullet lag still happens.

That is true. If you try to counterknife before the message appears or should have appeared it doesn't work. It's a timing issue inside a buggy system which makes it hard.
