Same Problem here . But i got an ati radeon 7770. So its not only nvidia problem. BF3 was running fine on High settings. BF4 is unplayable for me atm.
I have 4GB too. I run it at 1920x1080 usually at 60-80 fps with a 7870 Tahiti LE. The minimum specs state that 4GB of RAM is sufficient to run the game. For msot of the time, the game runs fine, barring these spikesI have seen other people with more RAM say that they have CPU spikes too. If 4GB is not sufficient to run the game properly, then EA are violating trade descriptions laws. It should at least run on low settings. I don't think this is a hardware problem. It is a game problem. It is not stable, so DICE should fix it. EA overworked their testers to beat COD to market, and an unstable, buggy game is the result.

Exactly the same damn issue, I've tried everything the OP has, including the naked voodoo dance.
I've had this stutter since BF4 release and it's just seemed to have got worse.
It sucks ass, I've been to EA help for upwards of 5 hours in total and now I just have to wait for their EA technical 'specialist' to email me...that was like 3 days ago...really, really **bleep**. I just want to play this frigging game without stutter and enjoy it at ultra settings which I'm supposed to be able to easily run it at, just like my friends PC who has near enough the same damn build of PC to me!

I see so many posts when I google 'CPU/GPU spikes' regarding this issue. I don't even have to mention Battlefield 4 in the search, I really hope DICE is aware of this problem but we'll never know
