The game was unsupported years ago. They'll continue to sell the game until people stop buying it. To fix these types of issues, there needs to be internal funding allotted for the development resources.
Tonight hackers are really having fun. Just crashing EVERY Server in EVERY game mode. ALL Servers are emty now.
Will EA please maybe do something about this? Please?
EDIT: Your progress towards medals is reset aswell when they crash your server. So it is impossible at the moment to make any progress.
- 3 years ago@Pointi1978 I'm unable to complete my weekly medals because of the "server nuke" by hackers.
Not only did they crash operations servers, but they started expanding as they crash the other game modes servers without exception.
I can say that the game is in an unplayable state. This masterpiece is coming to its end, how sad this game has become now ☹️- Pointi19783 years agoSeasoned Ace
Yes its very hard to make any progress towards your medals at the moment. They just started to nuke the servers again tonight.
EDIT: Just 2 Conquest servers left at the moment.
EDIT2: They are nuking the Community servers too (POWER, BoB) - arent those people paying (rentig) those servers?

It's ridiculous that this still hasn't been fixed. Even if the game isn't receiving frequent updates or new content anymore, it still has a gaping issue that should be addressed.
If you released a physical product that had a fatal flaw that resulted in it being unusable through no fault of the user, you would be expected to fix and/or replace the product. This really should apply to games (and specifically this issue). Valve fixed far less game breaking bugs in Half Life 1 and 2 over 15 years after those games were released, so requesting that a large company fix a serious exploit in one of their games isn't much to ask.
Image posted by someone else in this thread a while ago - if you are going to remove it then at least have the decency to acknowledge that this is happening and tag a DICE employee to ask them what they are doing to fix it.
