DDOS Protection needed

So, I am one of the community owners on Batlefield 1. We reported this issue time and time again and we have constantly been ignored or nothing has changed with no answer given.

the last time we reported this on mass we got a message saying "we are looking into it!" and after 3 months of nothing, we got a response of "no fix yet is the problem still persisiting?" then nothing at all after we answer'd yes this problem is still happening.

this is the 3rd time something similar has happened on this very forum . we need a fix for it plain and simple. the BF1 Rental Server Programme, needs some sort of ddos protection.

a lot of servers (including dice ones) are ddos attacked and crashed by cheaters, Now the simple fact is we pay money for this and the prices havent dropped in anyway across nearly 8 years.

Community servers are the only places where people can have hackers banned and these cheaters take their frustration of being caught out on us. people who pay money to avoid dice servers (which are quite frankly infested with cheaters) we need you to fix the exploit they use or stop them from being able to crash it. We have spoken to these cheaters after they come threatening us (to pay money to them to make it stop) and banning their accounts doesnt do anything as they brag they have 100+ accounts ready to take their place.

I know this is an old game but if your going to charge money for the RSP you still owe us a fix.

Erm, Why did you tell me this?

"Secure the quality of actual hardware" - We cant as we keep being crashed.

If you have questions or need helpreach out to ea support. - this issue has went on for over 3 years and we still haven't got a fix

this post has 6 pages now of people complaining about it and my post has over 40 people agreeing this needs fixing yet not 1 EA agent has responded.

    @Nort8D

    why?

Bazinga | The Big Bang Theory Wiki - Fandom
Bazinga (spelled "Buzzinga" in the subtitles of DVD releases) is a word used by Sheldon Cooper to signal that what he said immediately before this utterance was to be taken as a joke. In later seasons, it becomes something of a catchphrase.

Even if its just to say "Sorry we cant help" blahblah its better then just entirely ignoring us like this. at least give us some RECOGNITION.

Alexander Hassoon was the RSP producer (Rented Server Program) for BF1. I don't know who succeeded him after he left the DICE (Oct 2019).

for example, here is a news about him:

Official Servers Coming to South Africa, Middle East and Hong Kong
    https://www.ea.com/en-au/games/battlefield/news/server-launch

    Fellow Battlefield players,

We are thrilled to announce that we adding online game server support for our dedicated communities in South Africa, the Middle East and Hong Kong.
On Tuesday, February 21st between 08:00 and 13:00 UTC we will be introducing servers in these three regions for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Once deployed, players in or close to these new regions will now enjoy online Multiplayer with lower latency than previously experienced.
The three new datacenters will be based in Johannesburg, Dubai, and Hong Kong, respectively, and will utilise the same type of high performance server hardware as the other regions running Battlefield 1 game servers.
We will keep monitoring latency levels and geographical coverage for the Battlefield franchise and are committed to delivering the best experience for all our players worldwide.

    See you on the Battlefield.
    Thank you,
    Alexander "Striterax" Hassoon

HUN_gattaca is a known spammer on these forums, of which most his posts are nonsense. Don't overthink it too much.

    What's important is:

EA/DICE don't care and this game will be left abandoned and infested by cheaters until the day the plug is pulled, like its already starting to happen with BFH/3/4 on PS3 and xbox 360

  • I'm getting DDoS attacks since 4 months. Don't know what to do and how to react. This is crazy that in 2025 EA still can't figure out a solution for Battlefield 1 cheaters and protection against DDoS.
