i believe anyone get this error are using grafic card ATI HD 4XXX series rite ?
battlefield 4 maybe require direxct 10 or 11 and what i know ati hd4xxx series only support dirext 9 only

Mine is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4850, which is built-in inside my iMac 27" late 2009 model. This card supports DirectX 10.1. Based on the threads below, I don't see any reason why my card is not supported:

Also, when an app/game throws an error, that means there's really a problem. IMHO, if my card is not supported, it should prompt a message and say "Sorry. Your graphics card is not supported." instead of throwing an error. 🙂
