We are still looking into this issue, what means that we will work on performance and compatibility problems for the final release client. And before you ask, we are patching the Beta client as well. Nvidia user could try different driver built as well, I will definitely let you know as soon as we have news for you.
By the way: check your Origin aka BF4 client for an update.
About the minimum specifications, the majority of our playerbase is able to play with this specific old cards. Unfortunately, we realized that the amount of issues regarding older cards is higher than with high end machines. We are working on this but it is not surprising on the other hand.
Low end machines have always a higher risk for trouble than high end rigs.
In the end, I can totally understand that it is annoying for you guys and I can only say that we are tracking this issue and that we are eager to fix your problems for the beta or at least for the launch.
