I, as many other people in the same situation, was not able to play BF4 beta due to the famous ‘directx error ‘.

PC has:
- Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9600 @ 2.80GHz
- 4 GB RAM
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 1.0 GB dedicated RAM
- Win7 64 bits
It runs BF3 on high settings but I always played on medium as it is more fluid (Multiplayer). Does anyone know what is the reason for this directx error? Please don’t tell me that the pc is not able to play the game if you are absolute sure (as from the minimum requirements it seems to be possible to play the game)
INFO: I installed all the latest ATI drivers (13.9), directx (9.0 version) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable. I just finished reading all the problems!
The only way, is playing Windowed mode. Then i don't get any DirectX problems at all ! ----> Still waiting for patch fix
