Same issue here as well, and it is really pissing me off. I can play for about half of every map before i crash with he directX device hung error., give or take 20 minutes. The only good thing right now is that my stats correctly update even if i crash unlike the first 2 days.
I've tried changing the profile_save render.overall_graphics from 0 to 1,
Tried updated directX inside Bf4 folder
Tried placing .Cab files into another folder
Tried uninstalling ALL NVIDIA drivers with add/remove programs and re-installing the newest one from scratch.
Tried game repair
All to no avail.
All my graphics options are at the lowest, with AA turned off. This is the ONLY game that has this problem.
CPU 2700K i7 no overclock
GPU: GTX560TI, no changes besides latest driver
8 GB RAM
Windows 7
