Maybe this could help some people. I had been trying to fix the crashes for a long time. And just recently i decided to close out xfire. And turns out my bf4 kept crashing because of xfire. So now i run BF4 no problem by simply exiting xfire. That was the fix for me.
Wow closing xfire really worked!! For the past 3 hours I've tried all kinds of fixes and that was all I had to do...

IT seems I dont have xfire on my computer ☹️
(and still crash especially on shangai map)
You can try reinstalling DX..but it didn't work for me.
