Yeah I am encountering this issue as well. I did not, however, encounter it at any point during the Beta, nor did I encounter during BF 3's SP and MP. It is strange that this would occur at a very specific point in the mission (mission 4, I will not spoil for those of us not that far). So basically its like a wall and I cannot advance any further.
Updating drivers, again, did not work. Then again, I just updated to 13.11 Beta6 from AMD since their previous drivers (after 13.4) were causing my entire computer to crash without any reason at all (though 13.11 Beta6 seems to have fixed that mostly).
My PC's specifications are as follows:
Non-overclocked AMD FX-8350 (4.0 GHz standard clock, 4.2 GHz boost clock)
2x (yes two) Gigabyte 7970 GHz Edition in Crossfire X
3.2 TB of total HDD space spread out between three HDDs and one SSD
16GB of RAM
Windows 8 64 Bit (have yet to update to Windows 8.1, though I see that OS has its own share of issues with the game)
I am hoping this issue gets fixed, since, despite all that, it is a rather good looking game, and plays rather well. So here's hoping EA notices us on this board and can reach out and fixes the issue(s) we are facing, especially one as large as this.

I updated the drivers, reinstall the game and I still have this error after 5 - 7 mins of play. This has become almost unplayable.

Getting this issue with 2 GTX 650 Ti BOOST Superclocked cards in SLi.
Get the issue with SLi enabled and disabled.
Have tried 4 different drivers, including the latest.
Never had this issue in BF3
Also having the issue with the mouse not working correctly.
This is hands down the absolute worst game I've purchased. I've owned it since the night it was released and haven't been able to play a single multiplayer game or more than 2 minutes in campaign...
This is just absolutely ridiciulous. This game was NOT ready for release...

Oh goodie. My problem is the most common one. Wonderful...
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with a DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed. "). GPU: "AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series", Driver 13.9(13.152.1.8-131008a-163824C-ATI)
