I can't even get into the game to adjust ANYTHING let alone REFRESH RATE..................crashes as soon as the Server Title Page comes on...........
If you download the settings editor http://battlefield.realmware.co.uk/settings-editor/ like I stated you can do all your settings from out of the game.

"UNABLE TO LOAD SETTINGS FILE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN" ..... because I don't have a settings folder.....haven't been able to play to adjust settings yet.
Maybe somebody could send me theirs and I can use it to adjust the refresh and play FINALLY !!!!!!!!!
