Hello Everyone,
I received BF4 pc version as a Christmas gift and since the beginning I've experienced this getDeviceRemovedRason crash.
My graphic card is an ATI RADEON HD7970 Sapphire VaporX.
I've searched the internet, read forums, applied everything I've read but still I can't play the game, often experiencing crashes.
I don't want to hear some esoteric workaround, nor I can ascribe the problem to overheating: my graphic card can't even reach 70°C, seeing as the game freezes before.
I want you to fix it.
Should I remind you the amount the game was paid? I think it is superfluous. I'll just attach my system specifications, just to be sure not to read bull**bleep** about requirements.
Regards.

Here is my solution for dx crashes(gtx680 sli). Just lock FPS to 60 in user.cfg
gametime.maxvariablefps 60
I can play on ultra , 1920x1200 even though a have only 2GB of VRAM.

After searching the web for 2 weeks a got a solution (instead of the undervolting grab).
It's a driver issue!
There are 2 solutions:
- Reinstall Windows
Or try (worked for me)
- Download driverSweeper from guru3d: http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html
- Boot to windows recovery mode
- Run DriverSweeper to delete all display driver files from amd or nvidia, also reset windows update defaults
- Boot windows
- Reinstall newest display driver
- Have fun- 11 years ago
