Disc 5 wont install; How do I resume download from the internet?

I bought a physical copy of battlefield 1 because my internet takes too long to download the digital version. There are 5 discs that come with the copy. I have finished installing the files on the first 4 discs bringing it to an 81% completion but the 5th disc does not read. I insert the disc into my drive and nothing happens. The drive spins up for a while and then nothing. The prompt asking me to insert disc 5 remains and no matter how many times I press "ok" nothing happens. My installation is stuck.

Is there a trick to get the 5th disc to work? Is there something I can do to maybe extract the files on the 5th disc and mount it on a virtual drive? Or maybe a way to tell origin to download the remaining files from the internet instead of the disc?

Please help I want to play this game rather badly and having it stuck with the last disc is really frustrating

I'm having the same issue - disc 5 detects if I insert it by itself, but when I do it as part of the installation the computer doesn't pick it up.  I was assuming it was a faulty disc till I saw this post.

If redeeming the CD code in origin to download the digital copy is not possible due to slow internet speeds or bandwidth constraints one user reported that going off line allowed his to install from physical media after he received the error you are reporting.  The user didn't specify if he just put origin in off line mode or unplugged his Ethernet cable\turned off wifi but if you play around with those areas you may be able to completely install from disc.

Be advised that even if you install from all 5 discs you will still have to download the post release patches which may be quite large.

I've exchanged disc 5 for a new copy at the store and it still doesn't work - pretty frustrating but I'm guessing EA just not bothering to make sure product quality is there, given their preference for everyone downloading.

@Windsorandrew Did you try unplugging your ethernet cable and disabling wifi when trying to install BF1 from disc 5? Some players have had success with this method.
