Disc drive problem for Battlefield 2

I first get my old copy of BF2 and wanted to play it again, however my disc drive wouldn't read it, so I tried other games and it ran fine, So I brought the BF2 complete collection and still it wont read the disc.

I read on a forum (http://www.tacticalgamer.com/pr-bf2-technical-support-faqs/142864-b2-disk-wont-read-vista-computer.html#post1312752) that you can provide a digital copy but would require me to send the BF2 collections keys.

Which I can provide

By the way I am running the windows 7 64-bit
