To sum all of the single posts up in one:
- Player 1 knifes Player 2
- Player 2 keeps the tag
- Player 1 does not receive the dog tag
- Player 1 does receive a note next to the tag (x1) displaying the number of times the tag was "taken" from enemy soldiers
- Player 1 will not be able to equip any of the dog tags taken
- What if there's a Player 3? Player 3 stands on Player 1's shoulders pressing L1, x, o, R2, R2 as P1 knifes Player 2... You know like one of those old school cheats you used to get on the Sega Megadrive... Then do they keep the tag? 😂

I think you're referring to the legendary "Konami Code", which would be:
↑↑↓↓←→←→BA
But yes, all three players would keep their tags... but it probably would look pretty funny.
