Battlefield 1 periodically features Double XP, also known as "Community Boosts". Unlike other installments, the boost is only applied to the end of round score and require the completion of matches to be awarded.

Last time Double XP Community Boosts was between Nov 18 (Friday) and Dec 2 (Saturday).
The duration of the event was two weeks and the reason was the BF1 Black friday discount.
I think the duration of the current event will be at least two weeks (during the Christmas holidays).
Now there are a lot of new players (profile) in the Battlefield 1 which is good news for the future of the game.
Funny how the Double XP doesn't work for me, even though the game says it's active.

The previous double XP event duration was two weeks, from November 18, 2023 (Friday) to December 1, 2023 (Friday).
The current double XP event will be three weeks old tomorrow, from December 15, 2023 (Friday)
I just read the Battlefield 2042 news that the double XP event planned for this weekend has been cancelled (in BF2042).
However, the double XP is still available in Battlefield 1, thx DICE.
