DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
I'm getting the error. Running 8gb Corsair XMS3 DDR3 AMD Fx-6300 2x EVGA GTX 650 Ti Boost SC 2gb 970a-G46 mobo I've stress tested, I've downclocked. I've swapped drivers. Reinstalled DX, ...
i don't have good news... at least for me...
my friend has a GTX 770 SC EVGA and i have a GTX 770 OC Gigabyte. i'm having the directx crash and for him everything goes fine, so we exchanged our vga to see if the problem is with my vga.
he got the crash using my vga and i'm running fine with his vga... so... conclusion?
faulty graphic card!!!?
x(((((
Hallo EA!
As this DirectX error is something really common I believe you are working on it with real high priority? Do you? I mean we all were facing issues and bugs, system crashes and so on but this latest issue is a real show-stopper, BF4 simply does not work anymore. And even more also my BF3 fails now!!
My conclusion is the following (I have a GTX660TI working nicely so far):
- up to the point we got the latest BF4 update everything was running fine for me!!!!!!! And also BF3!!!
- yes, I do have all newest drivers, reinstalled BF4 and so on and so on, so please as someone said before, dont come back to us with dozens of suggestions which do not solve the root cause
- I even re-installed an older Gforce driver to eliminate the option that this one is failing
- what I saw in the comments was also to rerun the DirectX installation out of the BF4 folder
=> so I strongly believe that your latest directX update is the issue and buggy
=> When is an update planned to solve that?
=> Alternatively how do I get my money back for a nun-functional piece of software
Same problem here. I have this error every day randomly. It seems that on lower settings it happens a little bit less often but still it might happen.
My MOBO is Asus B85-PLUS
Intel Core i5 4670K (NO OC)
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 Windforce 3X
3x2 Kingston HyperX 1600MHz DDR3
Windows 8 Pro x64 with all the latest updates and motherboard, gpu, etc. drivers.
I've tried everything: changing voltage, underclocking my GPU, lowering settings,changing cfg file, reinstalling BF4, DirectX drivers, updating all drivers,reinstalling them, changing web browser, all that crap I've done didn't work. So my request is simple: F I X Y O U R D A M N G A M E ! !
Or tell Microcrap to fix DirectX libraries, because something definitely is not working as intented.
Try using a config file to lock your fps at 60fps, it seems to really help get rid of this crash.

If it was that simple, I'd think Dice/EA would address this. I'll give it a shot though.
