DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

Hi, my game crash with a DirectX error. Now every time i launch the game, i get a white screen and then Windows error saying BF4 has stopped responding.

DirectX Error

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVIC_HUNG ("the application's device failed dur to badly formed connands sent by the application. this is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed. ") GPU:"NVIDA Geforce GTX 770", Driver: 33165

Any help would be great! 

Occasionally getting a Direct X error message from windows while playing in campaign mode level 5

it says .......Direct X error........"get device remove reason failed".......DXGI_ERROR_ Device _ HUNG _ ....goes on to say this is a design time issue and should be fixed.

Any ideas??

I get heaps of different errors, and I see on the forums that I'm far from alone.

And I really don't see any official feedback, where is the help?

I don't really think I will get an answer to this, but I feel that you should know how faulty this game is.

How the crash occurred:

Playing 32 man TDM on the dawnbreaker map

First on death I got a purple screen of death and the map preview at the redeployment screen was all rainbow colors and glitching out, on respawn the game crashed with the following error:

On a side note I've been noticing more and more of the maps becoming corrupt during play as I've been playing and other players have said ingame that they are getting it too, ranging from low res texture squares that make up the ground to rainbow squares and trees. I have tried repairing the install via Origin to see if some files were corrupt and it came back with 100% fine.

Hey, when i try to log in to a server in Battlefield 4. The game crashes and i get this error message (pluss the standard windows message battlefield 4 has stopped working).

I have Nvida Geforce GTX 770, with the newest 33165 driver that just came out.
Also have DirectX11.

I know AMD is the supported graphics card for BF4 but I expected it to work with mine aswell.. Is there any way to fix this? Without buying new hardware? Im lost here.. dont know how to fix.

I've had the same or similar errors with 331.65 as well. I thought downgrading might help because there is no shadowplay beta in the mix.

Computer is a Core i5-4670, EVGA GeForce 760 4GB, 16GB RAM on Win 8.1 Pro 64-bit. Clean Windows install at RTM of 8.1 and nothing is overclocked.

yep EA/dice needs to fix this...... gtx 560 ti oc...Its an old card i agree but it works well on frame rates,

just this nearly every match.................. DXG1_Error_Device_hung 33165

and all previous drivers "sad face"

Like previous posts I will NOT underclock my card for 1 game that is their responsibility to fix

I have this error in battlefield 4, and update the drivers of my video card to the BETA and I still have the problem also can be actualize directx? some solution

What about EA/DICE for BF3/BF4?

Since I started playing BF4 today I've not been able to get through a single MP round without it crashing. I've tried multiple different servers and multiple different driver versions, but it doesn't help. All of my drivers are fully up to date. 

I don't usually get a crash message. My screen just freezes and I have to task manager out to get to desktop.
