EA anticheat is coming to Battlefield 1 on October 22nd

Hey folks,

we're pleased to share that Battlefield 1 will receive EA anticheat on September 24th October 22nd.

Previously, we extended support to Battlefield V which recently saw 28,000 wrongdoers removed from the game. This support will ensure that we continue our efforts in protecting play. Stay tuned for further updates.

We've decided to postpone the rollout of EA anticheat onto Battlefield1 this September 24th.

There are a variety of reasonings associated with this, however, we aim for transparency and one of those is that the issue a minority of PC players experienced on Battlefield2042 recently (now resolved) would have appeared on Battlefield 1 had we stuck to this original date.

Battlefield 1 is an old title; we want to ensure things are done correctly and we are taking the extra time to ensure that is the case. We will be in touch in the foreseeable future with an updated time and date for this rollout.

Ultimately, we want these releases to be as smooth as they can be and not impact you when they should be doing the opposite - improving your experience.

We cannot wait to see you join us on those old fields of battle once more,

    Thank you for your patience,

    Stay tuned for further updates!
