EA APP CRASHING WHOLE PC

Taking a look at this thread, thanks for raising it, looks like some wires got crossed, I apologize the wrong troubleshooting steps were sent - that's on me.

Appreciate the follow-up about this power plan thing, that's an interesting thread to tug on and we'll dig into it.

zc40k1990- EA anticheat can't run if you're not playing the game. Are you really playing Battlefield and Black Myth Wukong at the same time? I can't imagine you can focus on both. I'll try to repro this, I have Black Myth Wukong installed.

Your anti-cheating system itself is a virus software, which freezes and crashes other games in my computer, such as Black Myth and God of War.

This is what I've been saying for a while, but not many people pay attention to it. I discovered it after touching absolutely everything in Windows.

Yo guys, since EA wont help you in the near future anyway, i found the solution that worked for me. The solution is to change your power plan to balanced and restart pc. Worked for me and a few people. Now the game wont restard my pc when i leave the game.

I'm facing the same issue. The pc hard freezes when quiting the game only holding the power button to force shutdown helps, but thats when i'm lucky.

Most of the time, the pc crashes mid game in like 30 mins. Totally unplayable right now

it didnt work, and after this last tryed i unistalled the game and request refound on steam, as i bought in this last promotion i guess steam will refound weather not ill either play again to take risk of dmg hardware

last week my pc started to restart when i quit bf1 and bfv, they were runing nicely till some update.
why ea games is trolling us ??

This sadly did not work for me. Can you let us know if EA has at least acknowledge the issue so we can rest easy its being worked on? Been almost a week now, thank you for your eyes on this.
