EA APP CRASHING WHOLE PC

check here my recomendations, worked for me, change power plan of windows to balanced

Also getting whole system freezing when exiting Battlefield 1, have to hard shut down the PC.

Change to balance mode in power plan, and dont install process lasso until EA fix this problem, worked for me, for bf 1 and v

Multiple friends of mine recently bought it on the steam sale and when they launch the game it hard restarts their pc's. Even attempting to run the repair option forces a hard restart of their pc once that ends. 

This is only tied to BF1 and BFV as 2042 works fine for them but it is just these two games.

same issue PC is freezing after exiting from BF1. why is this happening ? I have been playing for 3 years and this issue started a few days ago

Hey everyone, 

For those still experiencing this issue, can you please try to delete the "machine.ini" file found in ProgramData\EA Desktop? Specifically Delete: C:\ProgramData\EA Desktop\machine.ini, it will generate a new one on next game launch.

Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden by default so you will need to show hidden files/folders and then perform the deletion and restart the application.

Open File Explorer  from the taskbar. Select View > Show, then select Hidden items to view hidden files and folders.
