EA app launched from another application.

Battlefield 1 opens and then immediately closes, and the EA app gives the error shown in the attached photo. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA application, moved the game location to another SSD, but it continues to give the same error. Please help me.

  • Hello @tarikasd,

It sounds frustrating to deal with that issue! Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem with Battlefield 1:

    1. Check System Requirements: Ensure your system meets the game's requirements.

    2. Update Graphics Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Visit the manufacturer’s website (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) for the latest drivers.

    3. Verify Game Files: In the EA app, go to your game library, right-click on Battlefield 1, and select "Repair" to check for and fix any corrupted files.

    4. Run as Administrator: Right-click on the EA app and Battlefield 1 and choose "Run as administrator." This can help with permission issues.

    5. Disable Background Applications: Close any unnecessary applications that might interfere with the game, including overlays from programs like Discord or GeForce Experience.

    6. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your operating system is fully updated.

    7. Firewall and Antivirus: Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus to see if they are blocking the game. If this resolves the issue, consider adding exceptions for the EA app and Battlefield 1.

    8. Reinstall the Game: If none of the above works, consider uninstalling Battlefield 1, cleaning up any leftover files, and then reinstalling it.

    9. Contact EA Support: If the problem persists, reach out to EA Support for further assistance, providing them with the specific error message for more targeted help.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

    Best regards,
