End of round scores - sniper rifles not scoring

For some reason, I am no longer getting any score registered at the end of the round for sniper rifles. Other sorts of weapons all score fine. Any ideas? No matter how many kills I get with a sniper rifle in a round, I always get a 0 for the score. Is that coz they are all unlocked?
