Error code 1 since 22nd October 2024

I haven’t been able to load into a single game for about 5 days whether through quick match, server browser etc…. All it’s met with is this message… ‘ an unknown error occurred. Error code: 1’. I’ve tried driver updates, checking for game updates obviously tried restarting game on day it started aswell as pc that didn’t fix it, and I’ve tried repairing the same through origin which also hasn’t fixed it. Please can someone help me I just want to play the game I only bought it a couple weeks ago

    • Check Server Status:

      • Sometimes, game servers may be down for maintenance or experiencing issues. Check official social media channels or forums for updates.

    • Reinstall the Game:

      • Since you've already tried repairing, a full reinstall may help. Uninstall Battlefield 3, then download and install it again through the EA app.

    • Clear EA App Cache:

      • Close the EA app completely.
      • Press Windows + R, type %ProgramData%, and delete the "EA" folder.
      • Go to %LocalAppData% and delete the "EA" folder there as well.
      • Restart the EA app and try launching the game again.

    • Disable Background Applications:

      • Sometimes background applications can interfere. Disable any unnecessary apps, especially overlays (like Discord or GeForce Experience) and antivirus software temporarily.

    • Update Network Drivers:

      • Ensure your network drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager by right-clicking on your network adapter and selecting "Update driver."

    • Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings:

      • Ensure that your firewall or antivirus isn’t blocking the game. Add exceptions for both the EA app and Battlefield 3.

    • Contact EA Support:

      • If none of the above steps work, reaching out to EA Support may be your best option. They might have specific insights for this error.
