Error code 80029564

I keep downloading the most recent update but at the end it says that the file has been corrupted and gives me an error code. The code is 800295564. What does this mean. I already contacted PS3 tech support but it said to contact EA instead. Need help

No, ragnarok, it is not. This error code is due to a error in the patch sent out to the south eastern us. It is not 100% fixed as in EA doing something about it, but there is a fix that works for some people. Look up the solved 1.15 patch thread that has over 430 replies for the solution.

Is it confirmed that the problem is confined to the Southeast? Where'd you get that information? Why the hell can't they fix this?

Multiple advisors and just skimming through people's specs. No clue why they can't though

Thank you. It worked. The solution was that I was downloading it through my wireless instead of going directly through my ethernet cable. Just put my ethernet cable on and downloaded it completely. Thanks for all the help
