Error for code (0x8027025a) on Xbox 1

The app will not start, as the game remains in the loading screen for 30 - 40 seconds before crashing, and giving the following message:

Please try again

For some reason Battlefield 4 took to long to start.(0x8027025a)

Starting the app again will only yeild the same results, weather signed in or out, reinstalled, or with the disk. The game skips over the loading "film" that occasionally starts with a new sign-in.

This has been an persistant issue since 25/4/14, and has been renering the game "Un-startable".

Hey, I'm getting the same error but hard resetting (holding down power for 20 sec) didn't work. I also tried shutting down and disconnecting power for 1 minute, and that didn't work either.

Are there any other fixes for it? I really, really would like to avoid having to reinstall the game and the add ons, because I don't have the patience to re-download 54gb of data on an ADSL2 connection.

I had the same problem, for three weeks now. After a call to both Microsoft customer support, and EA support, I had no other options than to factory reset my console. NOW, this worked. I had uninstalled and reinstalled 3-4 times, 6-7 "hard resets" and every other small fix.

If it's not going away, factory reset the console. you'll lose any saved data if you don't transfer to an external hard drive, but you will be able to play the game after that.
