Could you please provide us some general information about your internet connection and router modem?
At first, you should check your router ports. Following ports should be open:
TCP: 53, 88, 3074
UDP: 53, 88, 3074
For specific instructions on how to open your ports, please visit http://www.portforward.com/ or contact your router manufacturer.
To get sure that no corrupt data causing your issue, you should clear your cache:
- From the dashboard, click on My Xbox.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Storage.
- Highlight Hard Drive Device.
- Press Y to select Device Options, then Clear System Cache.
- Reboot your console.

All ports are open.
Cleared cache multiple times.
Download speed is 27.13 Mbps and Upload is 4.61 Mbps. That is with my Xbox downloading some DLC, my parents doing internet things, me streaming music from my computer, and 6 tablet/phone things constantly syncing.
Lag issues still present. Might have actually gotten worse between my OP and now.
I've done all the "home remedy fixes" Like moving all other games to a Flash Drive, so now my Xbox has about 195 gigs of storage with just BF4 content and my LIVE account on the hard drive. I've also deleted all the old patches and updates except the most recent and the title updates. I've wired my Xbox to the router and it didn't boost my U/D speeds and didn't fix anything. I've also re-started the router multiple times and even reset my Xbox network settings beck to default and then went back though and customized them again.
All with no effect.
I have noticed that last week, (2-15 to 2-21), all the BF4 servers I used to have 5 bar connections with are all gone. Half of the servers on the in-game server browser are gone and all that's left are a few DICE servers and a few public owned servers. Maybe 10 servers total, all show up as 3,2 even 1 bar connection. All of these "1 bar" servers are US east coast servers and I live on the east coast. All of the 3 bar servers are European even Australian servers, and I have never connected (They have never shown up on the server browser) to any Euro or AUS servers.
