Yes, this also may apply on Xbox, i also assume that Battlefield 4 is your only game that you play online as you said that the other games you own wont crash or timeout.
The problem causing the crashes is actually the router itself, if you have your xbox connected to the router the router will give the xbox an dynamic IP adress.But in this case, it's almost the same as what the PC responds like because your router will give every device a new dynamic IP after 60 minutes, so your xbox will also obtain after every 60 minutes an new IP from the router, so whenever this happens the connection (actual ping) times out for a second or two giving the EA servers no response and your game will be disconnected.
To fix this, you must acces your router and change the Client Lease Time value from 60 to 1440, so the connection between the PC/XBOXONE/PS4/PS3/XBOX360 will recieve an new dynamic IP adress after each 24 hours because the value 0 and 1440 represent the amount of minutes counting as 24 hours programmed in the router.
So this fix may also apply to gaming consoles where Hardline is being able to play on and is connected to the internet.
