I think it is just in game mechanic. And wasn't it similar for last battlefield games?
I don't think so. I mean everything else is clearly visible, optical sights, bipods, scopes but not the damn fore grips :D. It doesn't make any sense. Yeah I know this is a minor issue, maybe nobody really pays attention to little things like these with everything else going on in this game. But still, it is kinda distracting for me at least.
