So the game worked fine last night but now it's crashing whenever I try to launch the game. I didn't try single player, but all multiplayer, including Test Range, crashes.
I tried the config file, but I don't have anything in there
What are your PC specs? Can you please attach a .txt of your DxDiag so I can take a look at your specs, etc?
Also, what error messages, if any, are you receiving on the crash?

try update Logitech Gaming Softwar, but always close it before run BF4, cose punkbuster may block you for it )!
1) You have joystic/gamepad. some of this device can give such error. try unplug it.
2) This may cause some program like "Razer Surround", "Razer Synapse", "Rivatuner", "MSI Afterburner", XSplit,...
Try to delete it or close all process.
3) Keep in mind, if u use simultaneously some game programs (steam, origin, "nvidia experience", "AMD Gaming Evolved",...) that have some option overlay feature over/in game - this is 90% conflict, you'd use only one that program or overlay feature over/in game should be turn on only in one program.
4) Try to delete folder settings of bf4 C:\Users\[user name]\Documents\Battlefield 4\
Yes, bf4 have a big problems with mantle, so always use directx. Just deleting setting folder C:\Users\[user name]\Documents\Battlefield 4\ should set dx for default. Try also disable "Origin in game" and "Cloud saves synch".
