Everytime i try to join a game i keep getting this error "Game disconnected: client closed down connection." anyone else having the same problem?
The game loads for me, but I can't click anything. I can see it and hear, but no interaction. Then eventually I just get timed out from being idle too long and disconnecting. When the game loads though, it launches in windowed mode and is not full screen.
I also can't play campaign either since when I hit enter, the game doesn't register it happening.
I can get in the graphics are nice but every so often (Every match so far) I shoot my rifle or someone else does my game freezes and crashes. I lose the points I am trying to make. I run the System stress test and it comes up with 0 FPS bad rating when I come back in but my graphics are smooth and happy, so 2 issues. The system test I could care less about but come on guys what do I go to do I played with my sound settings to try and fix it uploaded newest drivers the works.. I loved the Champaign but I really want to rule the Multi player as well.

When trying to join a server, I get the following message as the game starts to run:

Game disconnected: something went wrong.So far I have tried the following things to resolve the issue so far with no success:
Reinstalling punk buster.
Installed the vcredist_x86.
Repaired BF4 Install.
Uninstalled BF4/Reinstalled BF4.
Set properties in origin for BF4 as 64 bit.
Ran trouble shooting steps with Techs online.
I have been escalated to a specialty tech. No telling how long this will take.PC Specs:
Intel Core i7 CPU @ 3.4 GHz
16 GB System Ram
64 bit OS (Windows 7)
DirectX 11
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 X2 in SLI
8 GB Video memory
GeForce 331.65 Driver
@volt have u tried running the game with only one card, disable ur SLI. SLI and crossfire sometimes make game play worse and most games are not SLI/Crossfire ready(there are exceptions). try that and see if it helps.
This just started happening to me after the new update they put out for the game.. I think we need to grit our teeth let them figure out the issues and just enjoy playing even if we are not progressing.
Well same here...
Tried everything including a complet reinstall of the Game. Nothing is working. I could play the beta without any problems but now the final game no chance.
I'm also having the
"client closed down connection"
issue more or less constantly. The exe is not crashing, although it does that too, this is a different issue.
It seems to be the servers crashing, because after it happens the server I am in is generally emptied out.
It happens a lot, so I am going to try and pay attention to see if I can find servers that aren't crashing and stick with them ... if they exist.
It's always a clusterf*ck to start 🙂 I have faith things will get better.
Yes, same problem here, totally rustling my jimmies.
