Agreed - same issue. I have never had a connectivity issue until the most recent patch. It gives this error after locking up during play, going to the transition screen, and then exiting to Battlelog.
It is an infuriating error.

Agreed, clearly not an actual port issue since I've tried smart port forwarding, disabling firewalls, manually opening on router, etc.
It had something to do with their patch and seems to affect a small but sizable portion of players based on comments I've seen here, the BF forums, and reddit BF forums.
