Whoa, that's pretty bizarre. Do you have another controller to test out?
I do not. I'm using the Day One controller that came with the system. I have had weird issues with the controller, but not in a longwhile. For a brief period about 3 months after the system came out, My controller would (and this is the best I can describe it) "crash". It only did it a total of 3-4 times over a couple months. None of the buttons would work, and the trigger would fire my gun all on its own. Sometimes it would fire intermittenly and other times, it was as if the trigger was locked in the "fire" position. The only working feature was the analog sticks. I could move and look around normally, but that was all. I tried turning it on and off and even removing the batteries, but nothing fixed it until I restarted the entire XBox One. That makes me think it was just a weird glitch in the system OS or a problem with them communicating with one another, and since I haven't had that issue in a long while, I assumed it was resolved through an update at some point. If this were a controller issue, though, why would the minimap show me flying all over the map? Even to areas that are off limits in Domination mode. This seems like a BF4 issue with the game comunicating with the server more than an XB1 issue for that reason. Then again, I'm not a computer engineer 🙂 Add that to the fact that my game still freezes in a perma black screen between rounds making me force quit the game and restart it, my kits still do not save between rounds (sometimes), and various other annoying glitches... well, its hard to think it's a hardware issue. I love the game, and I'm a fan of the series, but lets face facts here; this game is still riddled with issues and its more likely to be BF4 than the controller.
